Defoe not going anywhere, say Toronto

Agen Bola Terpercaya Cityholidaybet Reported - Toronto FC will not sell Jermain Defoe before the transfer deadline, club executive Tim Leiweke has confirmed. Goal understands that QPR and West Ham were both interested in signing the England international on Monday, with Leicester City also joining the race. But Rs chairman Tony Fernandes said of any possible deal that “it’s whether the Canadians are willing to release him now” and the Major League Soccer club are determined to keep hold of their prized asset. "Obviously the bids that were most intense were for Jermain Defoe," Leiweke told the Toronto Sun. "We're not interested in him going anywhere. "There were three different clubs that approached us."
