Garber sympathises with New York City FC anger over Lampard

Agen Bola Terpercaya Cityholidaybet Reported - Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber says he can understand the frustration felt in New York at Manchester City's decision to keep Frank Lampard. Lampard was expected to link up with new MLS franchise New York City - the sister club of the Premier League champions - ahead of the start of the American season in March but he will now stay in England until the end of the top-flight campaign. As a result, Lampard is now not due head to the US until July, much to the frustration of New York's supporters, while Manuel Pellegrini is coy over his chances of returning to England next season. Garber told Sports Illustrated: "I could understand why [the New York City FC] fans are unhappy and I do believe [the club] will work hard to build back that trust. "They've started that process already. I sensed this was coming and it didn't surprise me when they ultimately made their decision. You're dealing with a very unusual set of circumstances."
