The president feels the current coach will produce an incredible team if he is given the time and space to do so.
"If we let him do his job, we'll build a great team for this season and for the future," Bartomeu told Catalunya Radio.
The club chief also took the time to praise his sporting director, Andoni Zubizarreta, for the work he does which goes unnoticed to the general public.
"I'm pleased with Zubi; he does a complicated job, one which nobody sees behind the scenes, especially at grassroots level."
